Summer of health.

Hey folks,
Its the summer and I'm not taking classes or working, but I do have a gym membership. My goal for the summer is to make working out my "job". I'm going to go to the gym five days a week three of those days are going to be strength training and cardio and the other two are going to be cardio only. I have calculated that to lose 2 pounds a week I must maintain a calorie balance of 1,821 calories per day. That means food input calories minus exercise output calories should equal 1,821. I have an Iphone app that will calculate this for me, and one that will give me a work out routine.

As of today I weigh 217 pounds which is a lot higher then I have been for awhile, but I am confident with exercise, included with calorie restriction and a lot of hard work I will be able to get to a healthier state of being. As of tomorrow 5/18/09 I will begin to upload photos of everything I eat. I hope people will find this interesting and will give me encouragement. New week





We have here for breakfast; Coffee black, eggs w/ cheese, more coffee, and for dinner eggplant and onion rings coated in Bran Buds and baked, asparagus, salad, salmon burger with a piece of eggplant on top of it.
